Coastal Wildfowling and Sea Duck Shooting in Denmark

Coastal Wildfowling and Sea Duck Shooting

Coastal wildfowling and sea duck shooting are among the most affordable forms of hunting. All Danish citizens with a valid Danish hunting licence may hunt in Danish fisheries waters.

Types of coastal wildfowling and sea duck shooting

Hunting at sea can be divided into flight shooting, stalking birds by boat, shooting from motorboats, shooting from fishing cutters and coot shooting.

Flight shooting

Flight shooting can take place both close to shore and in deeper water. When hunting further offshore, you should always dress entirely in white.

Stalking birds by boat

Stalking birds by boat is also known as sea stalking. It is an exciting form of hunting that requires patience and an understanding of bird behaviour.
